VISITOR INFO

We accept the following cards: Visa, Mastercard or Laser. We do not accept Amex.

We ask that you please keep a sensible 2m distance from others during your visit.

Join tours from 21st June-31st August (excluding some private events. Please check Facebook for details), Monday to Saturday 11am to last tour at 3.30pm. All tours are guided. Clonalis gardens are private and can only be accessed when taking a tour or staying in the guest house. *Please note, tours are currently postponed this year due to Covid-19.

Clonalis is hidden away in a secluded and tranquil estate surrounded by nature. We encourage guests to enjoy the peace and beauty of the surrounding countryside and explore the estates rolling grounds, gardens and our woodland walks.

Please don’t forget it rains (apparently) in Ireland so we would advise you bring rain jackets and comfortable walking shoes. Please take care as the woodland walk can be uneven and sometimes slippery when wet.

The Estate is home not only to you, but to an array of wildlife: pheasant, foxes, mink, red squirrels, otters and hares. Please ensure to leave no trace of your visit while following the paths and also please do not bring dogs or bicycles through the woodland walks.

We offer a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the guest house. Guests wishing to bring their own wine to consume must do with prior consultation. A corkage charge will apply.

The courtyard at Clonalis is a peaceful setting and we would ask all our guests to be respectful of your neighbours, especially late at night.

There is also a working farm on Clonalis Estate. Pets are not allowed in Clonalis house but well behaved dogs are allowed in the cottages with an additional cleaning charge and must be kept on a lead at all times.

With a working farm on the Clonalis Estate, we accept no responsibility for any injury that the visitor could reasonably have avoided by following advice that appears on our website and signs around the estate.
